RIF Updates and
Information
The delivery of Scholastic/RIF
books is scheduled to be on or before January 13, 2006. Each individual school participating in the RIF Program
will receive their own shipment of books to be used only for the RIF
book distributions.
Each RIF school site
coordinator must verify the book count, sign the packing slip, and
save the packing slip in a safe and convenient location at the
school site. A copy of the packing slip must be faxed to
Montserat Paradelo at 305-995-2670. If a fax machine is not
available, please send a copy of the packing slip to Location #9627,
ATTN: Montserrat Paradelo.
In addition, please reference
the document
RIF Program Schools Book Count
2005-2006 and verify the
actual book count received. If the book count received is
incorrect, please notify Montserrat Paradelo via email at
mparadelo-morrison@dadeschools.net
or call 305-995-2911.
The
window for the first RIF Book Distribution begins on Monday, January
16, 2006. RIF Book Distribution events are conducted for Grade
2 students, only, three times
during the year at 137 schools. Hialeah Elementary, Lorah Park Elementary,
and South Hialeah Elementary have book distributions for grades K-5
and Miami Springs Middle School has book distributions for
Grades 6-8.
